From the Sales Desk, Jeremy Burr

Whew...! We have had quite a busy October and the word is obviously out about our wonderful community!  Last month in Shell Hall, 2 home sites and 3 homes went under contract with another home closing on October 31st. It is easy to help someone make the decision to move into Shell Hall when they see all of the friendly faces and welcoming smiles of our residents.  So, "Thank You All!" for everything you do to make Shell Hall the community it is today!  Branden, Eden and I will see y'all at the cook off on Thursday!

PS-What a great time to choose your neighbors!  Refer a friend today and lets help continue to build a great community together.

Rod Engard handles the majority of the re-sales in Shell Hall and tells us that 59 properties totaling $17,331,699 sold in the town of Bluffton for the month of September. October Sales were 69 properties totaling $17,956,655.

Re-Cap

The First Annual Shell Hall Community Yard Sale in September was a hit.  Thank you to everyone who participated.  The crowds came early and stayed until the end.  The weather was perfect for us on our "rain date" and everyone did a great job with the clean up.  Following the sale we enjoyed Bluffton BBQ's best pulled pork.  Many of you asked about the BBQ. FYI - Ted Huffman is the chef and he does cook for special orders.  It's great to get one of his "Butts" for the holiday season to share with guests. You must try the ribs too, scrumptious! His number is 757-RIBS (7427)

The artist's showing and reception for Peter Karis was well attended considering the downpour earlier in the day.  It was the first visit to Shell Hall for many of the guests.  Thank you Shell Hall residents for your hospitality, which resulted in at least one new Shell Hall family.  They closed October 31st.

If you are interested in seeing more of Peter's work, visit his website peterkarisart.com

Last month was a "Think Pink" month.  The Shop for a Cure fundraiser at The Club was a success with a variety of vendors, great raffle items, delicious food and pink cocktails.  We look forward to hosting nest year's event as well.  The event raised over $1000 for the American Cancer Society!!!

Upcoming Events at Shell Hall

November 6th:  Shell Hall Chili Cook Off

The covered dish community supper should be a blast.  We have the wonderful Jim Davidson performing for us.  He can sing and play anything and that always makes for a good time.  Shell Hall Owners are encouraged to invite friends whom you think would make great neighbors.  If you haven't RSVP'd please do so by calling Trey Niver at 815-4317 or email Trey so that he may organize the food for the evening.  We hope to see you all there!

November 6th: Realtor Lunch at The Club from 11AM to 2PM

November 15th: Cross Schools Fundraiser at The Club

November 28th - December 4th: Decorate for the Holidays

Thanksgiving's over and what better way to work off those extra calories than to begin setting up your outdoor Holiday decorations.  Let's make Shell Hall sparkle with even more charm this season.  No "Chevy Chase Style" with plastic yard statues for us.  We can do better than that with elegant white lights and natural ornamentals.  Get creative with garland and wreaths.  Wouldn't it be great to have everyone participate in some way!  So get into the spirit of the season and let's enjoy it all month long.

December 4th: Realtor Lunch at The Club from 11AM to 2PM

December 5th: Legacy Christmas Party

Legacy will be hosting a Christmas party for Shell Hall residents and other special guests at The Club from 6-9PM.  Jim Davidson will be joining us once again.  Formal invitation to follow.  In keeping with Legacy tradition, we will have a desert contest once again.  Trey Niver, winner of last year's contest, is bound and determined to hold onto his reign.  So start digging out those yummy recipes now and give him a run for it!

December TBA: The Harbour Community Church Christmas Services
